The room was very clean and comfortable with amazing views of the city, staff great and helpful. Ideal location in city centre. Pool area nice.

I really love this hotel. The room is beautifully and cleverly set up, the location is prime and well connected to KLCC Park, Petronas Towers, Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor and Pavilion. Concierge, front desks and door staff are polite, professional and very friendly. The only issue I had was with housekeeping who entirely skipped my room after my first night so despite me being out all day, my room was not cleaned or made up by 4:30PM when I returned, no replenished water and the trash had not been emptied. When I called to let concierge know and to ask for more water, they didn’t seem that shocked by it. A small thing but I expected more attention from such a good hotel.

This was more than just a vacation – it was our anniversary trip, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk team was incredibly kind and attentive, making check-in smooth and pleasant. They even surprised us with a small anniversary cake in our room, which truly touched our hearts. The continental breakfast was incredible – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented every morning. It quickly became one of the highlights of our stay! The dining team was always cheerful and accommodating. We also had a small issue with the TV in our room, but the engineering team resolved it quickly and even followed up with a lovely apology letter. That level of care and professionalism made us feel valued and well taken care of. The kindness of the staff made it emotional to leave. The entire experience felt like home away from home – comfortable, peaceful, and filled with little moments of joy. We travel often, but this was by far one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. To the entire Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur team: thank you for your warmth, attention to detail, and for making our stay so special. You’ve left a lasting impression on our hearts. The service was incredibly responsive, fulfilling our requests in record time – often in under five minutes! Cuisine – A True Culinary Journey The hotel offers an outstanding gastronomic experience. Breakfasts were a feast in themselves – the variety of cuisines and flavours from around the world was astonishing. Thirty8 delighted us with sophisticated dishes, while JP Teres on the ground floor served mouthwatering Malaysian specialities that truly pampered our taste buds. Special recognition goes to Chef Mohamad Nazib Omar, who not only prepared exquisite Malaysian dishes for us but also personally ensured that every detail was perfect, capping the evening with an unforgettable dessert. Rooms – Comfort with a View Our spacious, impeccably clean room with breathtaking views of Petronas Towers was the perfect retreat for relaxation. The comfortable furnishings and attention to detail made us feel right at home but with an added touch of luxury. Atmosphere – Luxury Without Pretense What sets Grand Hyatt apart from other hotels is its lack of formal stiffness. The friendly and warm atmosphere made us feel both relaxed and special. Despite the top-tier service standards, the hotel maintains an incredibly welcoming vibe. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in, and we have traveled extensively around the world. The property’s location is superb as it is right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Its facilities were as described, very good. The staff at the property were all very nice and friendly, you never felt awkward when requiring assistance. They would all approach you with a smile, it was very welcoming and comfortable. I’m also fond of how the property closes and ‘hides’ their bar during breakfast, as to make the environment very family friendly. The food at Thirty8 is also all very tasty, so if you’re thinking of staying here, I recommend paying for the included breakfast. I also opted for the Afternoon Tea, you have to pay extra at around 70rm per person, but it was definitely a delightful experience that you don’t often get.
